What Goes Around Comes
Back Around.
The Domino Series is a raw, unflinching account of one woman’s life unraveling, rebuilding, falling apart, and finding its shape again. Slowly. Imperfectly. Honestly. Boomerang is Book Three. Amy’s back. She never really left. The plan she started with? Still in motion. Still chaotic. Still hers. You don’t get off this ride. Not yet.

about the author
A Note
From Amy
I started writing this series because I had to. There are things that pile up in a person’s circumstances, patterns, choices, and years, and at some point you need somewhere to put them. I put them here. These books are a little bit of everything. Some of it will make you cry. Some of it might make you laugh. A lot of it will probably feel familiar in a way you didn’t expect. That’s the point. I’m not writing for some distant future version of myself who has everything figured out. I’m writing now, in the middle of it, still catching up to where I started. And there’s something honest about that, I think. Thank you for being here. Really.

A Series About the Mess
in the Middle
Life doesn’t move in straight lines. Plans fall apart. People disappoint. And then somehow, everything comes back around… the good, the hard, all of it, like it was always going to.
The Domino Series follows Amy through a five-year plan that turned into something much longer, much messier, and much more honest than anyone could have predicted. Starting with The Domino Affect, continuing through A Domino Effect, and now reaching into Boomerang, this is a series built chapter by chapter, issue by issue, pattern by pattern.
It’s emotional. It’s funny sometimes. It’s hard to put down because it feels too real to be fiction. That’s because it is.

our books
The Domino Series
— Read in Order
Book 1:
The Domino Affect
- Amy loves games almost as much as she loves music. This is a book of games that has music ringing in her ears.
Book 2:
A Domino Effect
- Let's say this, is the ending. To the middle of the old beginning. Lol. As not to get lost. Whatever it may be, this is where she is today. But boy I tell you what...she was sick.
Book 3:
Boomerang
- It all comes back. The good. The hard. The unfinished. Amy's plan is still going — way past the original five years. And she's still in it.
Coming Soon:
Loophole — Book Four
- She can't get out. Not yet. The loophole has its own plans for her.

What Readers Are
Saying
M.E. Austin writes the way people actually think. Thoughts jump around, memories show up unexpectedly, and sometimes there’s humor right in the middle of something heavy. I laughed out loud more than once.
— Christopher Lane
A lot of books claim to be raw and honest, but this one actually feels that way. You get the sense that the author is still figuring things out while she writes. That makes the whole story feel very real.”
— Melissa Grant
A Domino Effect made me realize how much I missed the first time I read the original book. I went back and started it again after finishing this one. Suddenly so many things clicked into place.
